The College of Arts and Sciences in Wadi Al Dawasir, represented by the Alumni Unit, held a training course entitled “Scientific Research Skills” on Monday 7/6/1443 AH in the college’s training hall. The course dealt with a number of axes including the meaning of scientific research, its objectives, its ethics, the stages and steps of preparing research, and the importance of scientific research in the progress of societies and their advancement in the civilized peace. This requires giving more attention to scientific research from all relevant parties and in all fields. It also touched on the definition of the scientific method in the research and its sequential steps, and clarification of the research tools used to collect data, and the ways to try the tools to be usable. The course was concluded by writing the scientific research in the form of a comprehensive report.
