The Development and Quality Unit, represented by the Community Service Unit and the English Language Department at the College of Arts and Sciences in Wadi Al-Dawasir, organized a workshop entitled: 'The Dangers of Social Media for Children' held by Dr. Enas Zayed and Dr. Arena Ali Mohammed on 13/10/1444 AH at Al-Quwaiz Secondary School for Girls The workshop was held in English and Arabic Dr. Arena started the workshop in English and was supported by Dr. Enas in Arabic. The objectives of the offer are as follows:
• Raise awareness against the use of social media.
• Familiarize them with the dangers of long screen time.
• To show them the real data of Saudis in smartphone and social media addiction.
• Suggest some useful and useful tricks to stay away from mobile.
• Introduce them to the word self-control and willpower to refrain from them from mobile phones.
