The College of Arts and Sciences in Wadi Al-Dawasir - Female Section - represented by the Scientific Development and Excellence Unit - established a program to prepare new faculty members and the proceeds from scholarships, which was on Thursday, 19/2/1444 AH. The program was implemented in the third week under the supervision of the unit coordinator in the Department of Mathematics. The meeting was attended by the assistant head of the mathematics department and some department supervisors, in addition to a number of members from various departments of the college. The program began with a field tour around the college facilities and college departments under the supervision of the Director of the Department. During the tour, the members got acquainted with the student activities hall and the college library, in addition to the location of the college theater and classrooms. This was followed by an introductory presentation that began with a review of the University's vision 2030 and the strategic and executive objectives of that vision that achieve some of the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030. The duties of the faculty member and the principles of the moral charter were reminded. This was followed by an introduction to the job performance system and a review of some members' rights and a guide to services provided by the Deanship of Human Resources. It was also known as the Scientific Council and the Deanship of Scientific Research and some circulars related to the request for support for scientific research and the mechanisms of appointment and promotion. The meeting concluded with a review of the most prominent electronic services and how to request technical support regarding the problems of the academic portal and the e-learning platform. The attendees were provided with an electronic bag that included the reviewed bylaws, as well as guides for academic advising, final exams and other university publications.
