The Director designate of the University of Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz, Professor Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al-Hamed, inaugurated the “Opportunity” exhibition for university education and employment, organized by the University Agency for branches, last Thursday in Wadi Al-Dawassir in Prince Nasser bin Abdulaziz Sports City. Many governmental institutions, companies, private schools, and university faculties took part in the event.
The university director designate cut the inauguration ribbon then he toured the exhibition grounds and visited the participating parties’ stands where he listened to explanations about the opportunities available for graduates to work in these institutions and about the opportunities of acceptance and of choice of specializations in the University faculties for high school graduates.
The Vice-President of the branches in Wadi Al-Dawassir, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Saqer, said that the Agency insisted on holding this exhibition concurrently with the celebration of the students’ seventh batch’s graduation. The purpose was to introduce students and graduates to the available job and training opportunities and how to apply for them, introduce them to the different job sectors and their requirements, increase their job awareness, strengthen the relationship between the University's Agency and the different sectors of work by acting as a link between the students and the work sectors, and provide the opportunity for the participants to know about the academic level, skills and competences of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University students and graduates.
