The Development and Excellence Unit, Department of Chemistry, College of Arts and Sciences in Wadi Al-Dawasir held a course entitled Removing Food Colors from Water Using Nanotechnology, on Tuesday, 5/8/1443 AH. The course started at 11:00 am on campus. Discussion revolved around how to get rid of harmful food colors by using chemically modified biochar and studying the factors that affect the process of absorbing harmful substances, as well as the many uses of biochar in the field of agriculture and in the field of water treatment.
