The Development and Quality Unit represented by the Community Service Unit presented a workshop entitled 'English Everywhere' on October 24, 2022 at 8:30 am at Al Mutalla Secondary School for Girls in Wadi Al Dawasir to motivate students towards learning English in simple ways. The activity was divided into four stages. It started with introducing English, its importance in everyday life and how it can be made easy to learn English. Second, students were asked to answer 'Is English everywhere?' and students' ways of searching for English words around them can be found in objects or elements of everyday use. The students were then asked to do the task of observing the items on the table and finally asked to observe the English words in the items before them.
Students enjoyed learning English in simple steps and a little effort. The workshop tried to instill lifelong learning among the students by raising their awareness that English can be improved further and new vocabulary can be learned not only in school from there describing English textbooks but also from things that are in their routine or daily use or through the things around them The workshop was presented by Dr. Lina Al-Hammad, Dr. Nahid Saba and Professor Azra Raafat
