Almudarea headed the First Student Council at the College of Arts and Science.
The Student Council convened its first meeting in the presence of his Excellency, Dean of The College Dr. Safer Almudarea at the meeting hall in the college. He started the meeting by welcoming the members of the council, wishing them success and urging them to offer any suggestions and opinions that would contribute to developing the academic environment in the college. He also asked the members of the Council to speak on behalf of their peer colleagues and called upon them to be supportive of achieving success of the educational process. He also told them that the administration in the college is ready to listen to the suggestions of both male and female students. The dean also emphasized on the importance of activating both the cultural as well the artistic activities. Moreover, he illustrated that the Student Council represents all the students and they should bear this responsibility through activating the different activities in the college. Almudarea also emphasized that the members should be high examples that would help in implementing the rules of the college. Then head of the council, Faihan Bin Kopaipan Alkawda, spoke confirming what the dean said urging the members to provide whatever suggestions they have that would contribute to the development in the college. The dean also invited the members to participate in making the decision associated with their daily life in the college through highlighting any obstacles with offering some solutions to overcome such obstacles in a way that would allow other students to give their suggestions. At the end of the meeting the dean stated that another meeting will be shortly convened.
