During his inspection visit to Wadi Addawassir and Sulail, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Province, has inaugurated the projects of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the College of the preparatory year, and the Faculty of Medical Sciences. The university projects costs in Wadi Addawassir reached 262 million riyals. His Highness the Governor of Riyadh has also inaugurated the project of the Faculty of Sciences and Humanities in Sulail. This project cost was 209 million riyals. The Rector of Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University, Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al-Assimi, expressed his thanks to His Highness the Governor of Riyadh Province for having inaugurated these important projects, which reflects the wise leadership’s keenness and interest in the advancement of the quality of education in the Kingdom, and in creating the favorable environment to it. This also reflects His Highness the Prince’s permanent and continued support to all the University projects and scientific and practical programs. Dr. Al-Assimi explained also that the university is experiencing a cognitive and academic activity and he referred to some indicators of optimism about the present and the future of the University. It is worth mentioning that the Rector Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al-Assimi has accompanied the Prince on his visit to the cities of Wadi Addawassir and Sulail, according to the visit program, and has participated in a meeting including government agency officials in Riyadh region (such as universities, municipalities, education, health, housing, employment, social development, electricity, water, roads, environment, agriculture, and the Saudi Industrial Property Authority, in the presence of the Emirate of Riyadh Agency for Development Affairs, the Secretariat of the Province Council ) in both cities.
