The College of Arts and Sciences in Wadi Al-Dawasir, represented by the Community Service Unit in cooperation with the English Department, presented a workshop entitled “The Basics of Parts of Speech in the English Language” on Thursday, August 21, 1443 AH, at ten o’clock in the morning at Al-Quwaiz Secondary School. The workshop began with a presentation on “The Basic Building Blocks of Language - Parts of Speech.” The main idea of the presentation was to introduce students to grammar and the elements (parts of speech) with special reference to English grammar. The main objectives of the workshop were as follows:
. –To be able to give an idea of the different parts of speech
. –To know the difference between the different parts of speech
–To understand and know the importance of grammatical structures in the language through the
proper use of the different parts of speech.
