The Dean of the Applied College at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Dr. Lafay bin Lafi Al-Salami, visited the College of Arts and Sciences in Wadi Al-Dawasir on Wednesday 15/7/1443 AH. The college received him at the auditorium in the presence of Dean of the college Dr. Sultan Musfer, vice dean, some faculty members and students. The hosting included a project to convert to applied colleges at the university. Al-Salami indicated that the transition to applied colleges comes within the framework of working to contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s vision 2030 and in response to the Ministry of Education’s endeavor to raise the level of the education and training system in a way that achieves goals and contributes in achieving the university's goals. Al-Salami also explained that one of the objectives of the applied colleges is to provide various applied programs that keep pace with the needs of the labor market, to enhance the basic values and skills that guarantee success in practical life, to establish sustainable training and employment partnerships with various business sectors, and that from the vision of the applied college is to provide various programs that keep pace with the aspirations of the changing labor market and its mission is to provide the labor market with professionally qualified cadres that contribute to the prosperity of the economy.
