The College of Arts and Sciences in Wadi Al-Dawasir Governorate held a training course entitled: (Introducing the Graduate Studies Streams), in the presence of a number of college students who are expected to graduate by the end of this semester, on Wednesday 8/7/1443 AH. Dr. Al-Haqsha gave a comprehensive presentation on how to prepare for graduate programs for college students, and the requirements to join the available opportunities offered by the university to the student, according to a number of programs. Dr. Al-Haqsha explained, “This training program comes within the college’s initiative to introduce students to the best way to complete graduate studies, for programs Master’s and Ph.D. programs in their career for excellence and success. Dr. Fayhan Al-Haqsha pointed out that there are three main axes in the student’s journey towards a master’s and doctorate, based on how to choose the appropriate academic program, how to prepare well the required documents, learn about international universities, and the selection mechanism for programs, in addition to Sources of information for students. In his presentation, he also pointed out the bases for choosing fields of specializations for the master’s programs for several things that must be taken into consideration before choosing the appropriate one. This includes choosing the university, the duration of the study program needed to finish the master’s study, curricula, and strategies followed by the university in teaching the required specialization, which would contribute In knowing the background of the certificate and its strength, and finally the career prospects which contribute to entering the labor market in a strong way, as studying for the required specialization provides the student with the skills and experiences that he needs throughout work, especially for students of scientific colleges.
