The start of the establishment of the College of Arts and Sciences in Wadi Al-Dawasir was the speech of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education No. 33/28/18248 dated 11/6/1426 AH, which includes the directive to take the necessary measures to establish the College of Arts and Sciences in Wadi Al-Dawasir Governorate.The college was established in 1428 AH and the study began during the first semester of the same year, where the new registrants were received from students, and were accepted in the following disciplines: Arabic Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, Mathematics, Computer Science, Department of Chemistry, Department of Physics and Islamic Studies The college includes a group of distinguished professors with their scientific and knowledge production, who have contributed effectively to enriching the university and the college with distinguished scientific and applied research and studies, and in providing effective solutions to the challenges and problems facing the public, private and sector sectors. The college also graduated a group of male and female students who have held leadership and executive positions in various sectors.
