Tasks:

  • Alumni Committee:

Based on the decision of His Excellency the Dean of the College, the following tasks were assigned to the committee:

  • Preparing a plan of workshops and activities to train and qualify graduates, and provide them with the expertise and essential skills to compete in the labor market
  • Providing professional training and job opportunities to students and graduates, and connecting them with government agencies and companies.
  • Providing tools for continuous communication and interaction with the graduates of the college.
  • Introducing graduates to professional bodies and the necessary exams in their fields of specialization.
  • Introducing students to the various online methods and platforms to search for training and job opportunities.
  • Providing data and statistics about graduates, especially regarding their employment rates
  • Preparing questionnaires and surveys to collect data regarding graduates' opinions and employers and analyzing them.
  • Preparing the unit's reports about the graduates and documenting the events and activities conducted by the committee.
  • Measuring students' and graduates' satisfaction regarding the activities and events conducted by the committee.
  • Creating a website for the unit in which information and news about the unit are published
  • Keeping records of committee meetings' minutes, reports, and information.
  1. Training and Development Committee:

Based on the decision of His Excellency the Dean of the College, the following tasks were assigned to the committee:

  • Determining what skills are the most needed for students in order to increase their opportunities while competing in the labor market.
  • Preparing and implementing a plan of events and activities for training and development in the various fields of the college.
  • Preparing, improving, and updating the guide for organizing field training in the college it and making the needed forms for that.
  • Providing students with training opportunities in the labor market that are suitable for their specialization.
  • Providing students with job opportunities in fields that are suitable for their specialization.
  • Preparing training bags and providing students with various electronic resources, publications and advertisements regarding available training and job opportunities.
  • Coordinating with other units and committees within the university with the regard of training and development.
  • Coordinating with external organizations and committees such as the Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf” or other specialized companies in the field of training and development.
  • Providing current students and graduates with part/full-time job opportunities and identifying the beneficiaries of these opportunities.
  • Following-up to the graduates collaborating with various administrative bodies within the university in order to obtain experience certificates.
  • Preparing reports regarding the committee's activities.
  • Measuring students' satisfaction regarding the activities and events conducted by the committee.
  • Keeping records of committee meetings' minutes, reports, and information
  1. Graduation Projects Committee:

Based on the decision of His Excellency the Dean of the College, the following tasks were assigned to the committee:

  • Discussing the timetable for conducting graduation projects before it is announced to students.
  • Following-up the procedures of completing graduation projects.
  • Preparing, improving, and updating the guide for organizing field training in the college it and making the needed forms for that.
  • Discussing the graduation project proposals presented before they are announced to the students to ensure their equality at the college level, in terms of the efforts that the students will make, as well as the compatibility with the numbers of students participating in it
  • Conducting meetings, competitions, events, and activities related to graduation projects
  • Preparing reports regarding the committee's activities.
  • Measuring students' satisfaction regarding the activities and events conducted by the committee.
  • Keeping records of committee meetings' minutes, reports, and information.
  1. Field Training Committee:

Based on the decision of His Excellency the Dean of the College, the following tasks were assigned to the committee:

  • Discussing the timetable for field training before it is announced to students
  • Following-up implementation of field training procedures at various stages; before, during and after training.
  • Preparing, improving, and updating the guide for organizing field training in the college it and making the needed forms for that.
  • Discussing field training plans.
  • Providing training opportunities in government agencies and companies, which are suitable for the students' specialization.
  • Conducting meetings, events, and activities related to field training.
  • Preparing reports regarding the committee's activities.
  • Measuring students' satisfaction regarding the activities and events conducted by the committee.
  • Keeping records of committee meetings' minutes, reports, and information.
