The Vice Rector for Development and Quality in Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Dr. Nasser bin Saad al-Qahtani, took knowledge of the practical steps taken by the College of Arts and Sciences in Wadi Addawassir to achieve teaching development and program accreditation according to the General Quality Guide for Academic Program Approval and to make sure that the academic programs in the college are in accordance with the NCAAA requirements. This was during the visit made by Al-Qahtani, accompanied by the Dean in the Deanship of Development and Quality, Dr. Fahd bin Saad Al-Sahli, the Vice-Dean, Dr Hassan bin Nasser Adheraoui, and a delegation, to the College of Arts and Sciences in Wadi Addawassir where he met the Dean of the college, Dr. Safar bin Bakhit Al-Mudaraa, the Vice-Dean of the College, Dr. Faisal bin Mohammed Asiri, and the Assistant of the Dean for development and quality, Mr. Suleiman Al-Zu’bi. Dr. Safar bin Bakhit Al-Mudaraa pointed out that these visits come within the framework of efforts to disseminate the importance of overall quality and to enhance the quality culture among the employees of the university and its units. Dr. Al-Mudaraa explained that the Vice Rector for Quality and Development stressed the need to work in the direction that the academic programs are in accordance with the NCAAA requirements and he noted that the purpose from such visits is to find out the difficulties and challenges faced by the units in this matter and to discuss ways of coordination, cooperation, and complementation to achieve accreditation as planned and desired. Dr. AlMudaraa stressed also that the College takes upon itself the initiative and the follow-up of the teaching programs in order to reach the advanced stages that support and enhance the overall efforts of the college in the development and improvement of the ouput and the university environment.
